International calling from a phone browser
Step by step for iPhone and Android, plus tips for a clear call.
Updated 1 October 2026
You can make international calls from your phone's web browser, without an app. Here's how on iPhone and Android, and how to get a clear line.
On an iPhone (Safari)
- Open danatel.net in Safari and sign in.
- Type the number with its country code and tap Call.
- When Safari asks to use the microphone, tap Allow.
To open DanaTel like an app next time: tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
On Android (Chrome)
- Open danatel.net in Chrome and sign in.
- Type the number with its country code and tap Call.
- When Chrome asks to use the microphone, tap Allow (it may say Allow while visiting the site).
Chrome may offer to add DanaTel to your home screen; you can also find it in the ⋮ menu.
Tips for a clear call
- Use Wi-Fi where you can, or a strong 4G/5G signal. Calls use data, not your plan's minutes.
- Keep the DanaTel page open until you've finished talking. DanaTel tries to keep your screen awake during a call.
- Earbuds or a headset stop the other person hearing an echo of themselves.
- If you tapped Block by mistake, open the browser's settings for danatel.net, allow the microphone, then reload the page.
Credit starts from £5 and calls are billed in 6-second steps. See rates.
