Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 May 2025
1. About Us
DanaTel is an internet-based international calling service operated by Danadata LTD, a company registered in England and Wales ("Danadata", "we", "us", "our"). References to "DanaTel", "the service", or "the platform" mean the website and software we provide at danatel.net.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of a country in which the service is legally available to create an account. By registering you confirm that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
- One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits or bans is prohibited.
4. Permitted Use
You may use DanaTel only for lawful personal or business voice communication. You must not:
- Use the service to make calls that are illegal, fraudulent, abusive, harassing, or threatening.
- Attempt to circumvent any call routing, billing, or security mechanisms.
- Use automated diallers, bots, or scripts to generate calls.
- Resell or commercially redistribute access to the service without our prior written consent.
- Use the service for emergency calls — DanaTel does not support emergency (999/112) calling.
5. Wallet, Top-ups & Billing
- DanaTel operates on a prepaid basis. You must maintain sufficient wallet balance before placing calls.
- Call charges are deducted based on the applicable destination rate and any connection fee displayed at the time of the call.
- Rates, routes, and pricing may change at any time without prior notice due to carrier, regulatory, or operational changes.
- All payments are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
- You are responsible for reviewing call rates before placing a call.
- We are not responsible for charges resulting from incorrect dialling, failed calls connected by third-party carriers, or unauthorised access to your account.
6. Fair Use
To protect the quality of service for all users, we may apply reasonable limits on call durations, simultaneous calls, or daily spend. We will inform you if your usage triggers a limit. Abnormally high or abusive usage patterns may result in account suspension.
7. Service Availability
DanaTel is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.
The service relies on third-party telecommunications carriers, internet providers, hosting providers, and infrastructure partners. Call quality, routing, availability, and connection success may vary by destination and network conditions.
We may suspend, restrict, modify, or permanently discontinue all or part of the service at any time, with or without notice, including where a third-party provider withdraws support, regulatory restrictions apply, fraud or abuse is detected, or continued operation becomes commercially impractical.
We shall not be liable for any loss, damages, missed communications, business interruption, or costs arising from outages, blocked routes, failed calls, carrier issues, or service discontinuation.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, software, and materials on the DanaTel platform are owned by Danadata LTD or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our prior written consent.
9. Privacy
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Danadata LTD and its directors, employees, affiliates, suppliers, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the service.
We do not guarantee successful call completion, call quality, uninterrupted connectivity, or compatibility with all destinations, carriers, or devices.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to DanaTel during the thirty (30) days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access to the service immediately, with or without notice, for any reason including suspected fraud, abuse, excessive risk, breach of these Terms, legal or regulatory requirements, carrier restrictions, or operational necessity.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any user or destination at our sole discretion.
If your account is terminated due to fraud, abuse, chargebacks, unlawful activity, or breach of these Terms, any remaining wallet balance may be forfeited to the extent permitted by law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
